Contributor Bio(s): Star, Alisa: - Alisa Star is a small town girl who grew up in Alexandria, MN. She is the youngest of three girls. Her family and friends, music, writing, sports, and lake activities filled Alisa's childhood. Music and writing have always been her true passion, and she has been singing and writing songs since she was a kid. After graduating from NDSU, Alisa has had the privilege to take several trips to Nashville to record her original songs. Her original music is available on iTunes. In 2014, Alisa was named IMEA "Country Female Artist of the Year," and in 2015 she took home the award for IMEA "Album of the Year." After Alisa and her husband Aaron welcomed their daughter Charlotte into the world, Alisa decided to take her creative Children's Book ideas and writing passions to the next level, and create an inspiring and encouraging Birdie Book series. The first book of the series is called Birdie Takes the Stage. |
