All of our bargain books are brand new, perfectly readable and represent a tremendous value! The bargain books are, however, publisher overstocks and remainders that TRW purchases at deep discounts. As a result, they may have a small mark through the UPC bar code or a small mark on the side of the book. This is simply to mark the books so they cannot be sent back to a publisher. Because of this, bargain books are non returnable to TRW unless they are damaged. Please consider this before ordering.

This series on energy provides explanations of topics ranging from fossil fuels to nuclear energy to renewable resources. Photographs, charts, and diagrams complement the texts. The Spanish translations, however, are merely passable. Errors, inconsistencies, and awkward phrasing affect even key terms and end matter; reading lists are either English-only or they reference other volumes in this series. Reading list. Glos., ind. These books introduce different sources of energy and discuss the potential and problems of each. While helpful for report writers, the leveled text, which is geared toward reluctant readers, attempts to convey a lot of complex information in a distracting layout that may overload struggling readers. Photos are informative but sometimes add confusion to the overcrowded pages. Reading list. Glos., ind.
