Publisher Description: Based on a vignette in the classic Curious George Flies a Kite, this story features George finding a hutch of adorable bunnies. He thinks it would be so much fun to play hide-and-seek with one of the baby bunnies, so he lifts it from its cage, sets it on the ground, and closes his eyes. But--oh, no--the bunny runs off, and George can't find it anywhere Luckily, Mother Bunny comes to the rescue. This board book with sturdy pages is perfect for little ones who love playing hide-and-seek. The classic artwork of H. A. Rey will make this a favorite to be read again and again. |
Contributor Bio(s): Rey, H. A.: - Hans and Margret Rey created many books during their lives together, including Curious George, one of the most treasured classics of all time, as well as other favorites like Spotty and Pretzel. But it was their rambunctious little monkey who became an instantly recognizable icon. After the Reys escaped Paris by bicycle in 1940 carrying the manuscript for the original Curious George, the book was published in America in 1941. More than 200 Curious George titles followed, with 75 million books sold worldwide. Curious George has been successfully adapted into a major motion picture and an Emmy-winning television show on PBS. |
