This manuscript began as a series of emails I wrote at telecenters in Dakar, Senegal and Banjul, The Gambia in 2003. I emailed my friends and family back in the United States daily about my experiences while on my first trip to Africa. I received tremendous feedback. Beloved Waters graduated from the Spirit School of Hard Knocks and earned several celestial degrees: an associate's degree in grace, a bachelor's degree in forgiveness, a master's degree in "call those things that be not as though they were", and a doctoral degree in integrity. Beloved Waters is also an accomplished actor, she gave an Oscar winning performance in, "A Righteous Man Falls Seven Times, and Gets Back Up Again." This is her first novel.
