English summary: The International Egyptological Temple Conference was established at a congress in 1990 in Gosen near Berlin, whose inaugural theme was "Structure, Function, and Program" and whose participants examined Egyptian cult-complexes as important state institutions. Since then, the successors to that first meeting have taken place with various themes in countries across Europe including Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Poland. On the one hand, these meetings emphasize the international nature of the field of Egyptology and, on the other hand, they show the importance that Egyptian temples had to the political and cultural landscape of ancient Egypt. And as always, these conferences produce new insights for the study of Egyptian temples, showing how these centers of religious power worked closely with all aspects of pharaonic Egypt into the period of Roman rule. German description: Die internationalen Agyptologischen Tempeltagungen wurden 1990 mit einem Kongress in Gosen bei Berlin eroffnet. Dort ging es zum Auftakt um "Struktur, Funktion und Programm" agyptischer Kultanlagen als zentrale staatliche Einrichtungen. Inzwischen gab es Folgeveranstaltungen mit unterschiedlichen Themen in Deutschland, den Niederlanden, Belgien und Polen. Sie unterstrichen zum einen die internationale Ausrichtung des Faches Agyptologie, zum anderen aber zeigten sie die Bedeutung agyptischer Tempel fur die politische und kulturelle Basis des pharaonischen Agypten auf. Immer wieder aufs Neue beweist die Erforschung der agyptischen Tempel die enge Verzahnung dieser religiosen Machtzentren mit samtlichen Aspekten des pharaonischen Agypten bis weit in die romische Zeit hinein.
