Contributor Bio(s): Scheuer, Karen: - Karen Scheuer is a wife, mother, and teacher. She taught elementary school for 26 years, and is now a part-time professor. She lives in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and has been married to her high-school sweetheart for over 30 years. The author and her husband have a 27-year-old daughter and a 24-year-old son. She enjoys calligraphy, knitting, traveling, and reading, and never turns down an offer to dine out. The first-time author encourages children to use the empowering words of A Bug and a Wish in various situations. "Over my many years of teaching, teasing and bullying increased. I felt that the 'bug and wish' concept would make a great book for families to use at home, and for teachers to use in their classrooms."
