Publisher Description:
Deep in the realm of imagination, just beyond reality, and a little this side of disbelief, there's a special place set aside for the child in all of us. It is called The Hollow, and there a distinct band of creatures live. They are known as the critters.

There's Shadrach, a bulky, shaggy, very green critter with a heart of pure gold. His cousin, Burple the Furble, lives there also, and he too is bulky and shaggy, but red rather than green, and he happens to have the rather disconcerting habit of burping at the most inopportune moments. Then there's Fester the Pest who is small and annoying. Ookie is the shy one, tiny and blue with the wispiest of voices, and she is one of The Hollow's true treasures. Stupus the Oozle lives here too. He bubbles and oozes and glams on to any and all, and he is well loved.

Geared toward boys and girls in the 3-8 year old market, this set of memorable life lessons could be grouped together in the five lessons that are presently ready to go, or perhaps singly, or expanded to include more. Either way, the critters have many stories to tell and from their experiences we too may learn the lessons of life. So come along into The Hollow and join the critters
