Hal is race director of four popular trail runs in Oregon and owns Rogue Valley Runners, a running store that is a Mecca for trail runners in the Pacific Northwest.

Chase, Adam W.: -

Adam W. Chase is a sports writer, trail runner and ultramarathoner, adventure racer, and Ironman triathlon finisher. He is the trail and gear editor for Running Times magazine and contributes regularly to Runner's World and Competitor magazines. Chase is president of the American Trail Running Association and is also the U.S. Trail Running Brand Ambassador, team captain, and manager for Salomon and Atlas Snow-Shoe Company.
