Publisher Description:
I was born and spent my childhood in small mining communities in the Australian Outback. I lived in a family that moved around a lot and we never stayed in one place for long. My teenage years were very rocky full of uncertainty, instability and insecurity. I had a lot to deal with at such an immature stage in my life which resulted in bad behaviour. I felt completely alone but got to the point where I wanted to work through what I was feeling. And I did. After a lot of self discovery I released I will only be truly happy when I am truly being myself and to never care what other people think of me. And I did that too and never looked back. The more I believed it the more my confidence grew and the more I was able to work out who I am. My life also changed for the better when I moved to Brisbane. Australia's third biggest city. Living in a city with a healthy alternative community was great for finding people more like myself .Which helped me flourish even more on the inside. Wanna know how I got into modeling? Well, I kind of fell into it. I won my first photo shoot. I was very nervous but I loved it also. Afterwards I thought to myself it was something I could do again. Once I saw the photos which resulted from my first shoot I was even more enthusiastic to do it again. I worked with amateur photographers to get my bearings and my head around how it all worked. The most useful piece of advice I had in my early days was from the movie The Notorious Betty Page, "Clothes, pose & expression". But I found out that make-up, hair and styling was just as important. I've worked hard to create an amazing porfolio as well as getting over my nerves by working with many different photographers, make-up artists, designers and other models that are on the same wavelength. I was, and still am, constantly stepping it up to higher level of professionalism as I have been improving as a model. What I desire most is to work with professionals and extend my career are far possible. I'm very excited about going to the US in 2012 to work with more American photographers plus I'm getting hitched in Las Vegas. My website will be operating in 2012 also.
