Publisher Description:

Life on the waves as a pirate is boring and profitless for Declan. So surely taking charge by single-handedly murdering his captain could only improve the situation? Limited experience and the desire for riches mean very little when you're faced against torrential weather, killer wildlife, starvation, monsters, the law, and that one guy who really wants to kill you for some reason.

A comedy novel written for young adults by a young adult, professionally edited and published by ... erm ... a professional editing and publishing company. This isn't just some half-hearted piece of homework left lying around by a sixth former, this is over two years in the making and is ... funny ... really funny The author is planning to eschew university and go on to be a comedy writer.

Contributor Bio(s): Johnson, Tom S.: - Tom S. Johnson, born in England sometime in 2001, begun this work of fiction when he was 15, not really thinking it was going anywhere. He nevertheless finished it at weekends (when he was in the mood) until it was eventually completed when he was 17. Not having many contacts in the publishing world, being as though he was still at school, he nevertheless did gain the attention of a very forward-thinking, kind and generous publishing company who agreed to publish for a slice of the action. After gaining his A Levels, the author decided to avoid the student debt that comes with university life and just get stuck into writing comedy material. This is particularly relevant given he plans to be a comedy writer. Good luck to him we say.
