Publisher Description:

The title of this book is "Not of Works." While thinking about how or what I was going to write about was somewhat difficult because there are so many different topics that we can be interested in when writing a Christian book. So I thought let's start from the beginning on what influenced me to become a Minister at the Bread of Life Church and why I became a Regional Commander for the International Fellowship of Chaplains. Also, what influenced me to get my B.A in Christian Studies and my Master's Degree in Christian Studies with an emphasis in Pastoral Ministry at Grand Canyon University.
I believe that everyone who goes through life faces some kind of disappointment or tragedy that causes us to question, "Where is God?" and "If God is so good, why does he allow evil to enter into this world?" This book is about faith and works. It is about why we cannot enter into our heavenly kingdom if we lack faith. Works is extremely important. It is not about buying our way into heaven with indulgences but works is about the evidence of our faith. This book breaks down and compares and contrasts the apostles Paul and James. This book gives us a very good insight on how and why we need to have faith in God and the necessity of teaching others about God's eternal love for man. It also highlights why it was necessary for Jesus, his only begotten son, to die for our sins.
