Captain Tooke takes on the responsibility not only to save the children but to return them to their homes and family. With a crippled ship in tow and a bare bones crew to man two ships, Captain Tooke calls upon his friend Mr. Tamil to step up and Captain a crippled ship. Together Captain Took and Mr. Tamil weather severe storms and avoid pursuit by dangerous and deadly men. They save the children and the ship all while navigating the Globe. They travel to the Cliffs of Moher on the Emerald Island and find a magically conjured world and the mystery of the Alchemist in the wall. Captain Tooke gains the knowledge needed to transmute objects into other things but he also finds a new adventure, a new need to sail, the Philosopher's Stone.
