Publisher Description:
"After the Cloud" is the third book in a series that starts at the end of WWII, when the father of this book's main character comes home from combat. The second book, "GBA2017" describes the life of Boise, Idaho's sheriff, John Turner, in the year 2017. He is a 71 year old who has spent a lifetime watching the destruction of Western Civilization to the point he is under a court order to close down his own church for collection of taxes on the tithe. "After the Cloud" describes life in Heaven and on earth, after the rapture. It is a description of what the author hopes to find Heaven to be like. Author Jim E. Reames serves as a "Subject Matter Expert" (SME) on whole-of-nation cybernetic warfare attack and defense strategies for the U.S. federal government. He was a riot control military policeman in the 1960s, then a deputy sheriff, turned computer programmer in 1973. His 2002 a. d. master's degree thesis at Boise State University, just 90 days after 9-11 was about international terrorism, asymmetric warfare, and organized crime. Upon academic acceptance, that thesis was immediately summoned by the White House before becoming reading material at West Point Military Academy. All of the novels by Jim E. Reames are available on Amazon as e-books, at reduced prices, and also as paperbacks. Or, you can get his books straight from the printers, here. His novels are also available in a number of different languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, and Japanese.
