Reviewed by Horn Book Guide Reviews (Horn Book Guide Reviews 2009 Spring)
To save their magician mentor, Annie and Jack tree-house travel to modern-day Antarctica in search of the fourth secret of happiness. Like other Tree House books, this one somehow equals more than the sum of its parts, which include corny kid speak ("Gee!" "Darn") and threats of danger that doesn't materialize. Murdocca's black-and-white art faithfully captures the story's big moments. Copyright 2009 Horn Book Guide Reviews.
