Kathryn White grew up in the Midlands and now lives in Wells with her husband. Inspired by her children and grandchildren, she has written more than thirty children's books, almost all of which feature animals as the main characters.

Adrian Reynolds was born in South Wales. After studying at Swansea College of Art and Cambridgeshire College of Art and Technology, Adrian worked at Heffers Children's Book Shop before beginning to write and illustrate his own picture books.
